Alamosa bicycle Coalition

ABC wants to provide used bikes to people looking for an affordable option. We hope to create a space for people wanting to learn how to fix and maintain their bikes. Bikes should be available to anyone and we want to make that a reality.

Our Mission

"To increase the physical, social, emotional, and economic wellbeing of youth and adults, especially those with limited access to private or public transportation, by increasing their access to bicycles, cycling safety and repair skills."
Community members have the skills to repair and maintain their own and others’ bicycles.

Community members have access to bicycle maintenance tools, parts, and safety equipment.
Community members have access to working bicycles.
Community members are increasingly interested in biking as a form of transportation, recreation, and healthy living.
Community leaders support infrastructure for safe and accessible cycling throughout Alamosa.
Alamosa’s biking community reflects the diversities within the area.
