Our Mission
To educate and develop the community, economic, social, civic, and cultural welfare for the Alamosa County Area.
Our Vision:
Provide programs and services that are a positive impact for our county’s greater good.
About Us:
We are brand new! We were created to help deepen the impact of the work of the Alamosa County Chamber of Commerce, to the greater benefit of Alamosa and the SLV. Keep an eye on this page, there’s exciting things to come!
Current Goals & Projects:
This year, the Foundation is fundraising to bring annual Civics Bee competition to Alamosa and the SLV starting in the Spring of 2026! See below letter for information on the Civics Bee and future goals.
Our Pride of Place Committee is responsible for organizing our 100-year Mural Project (click above) as well as other beautification efforts for Alamosa. Other projects include a proposed remodel of Carrol Park with Dog Park addition, with other planned efforts such as a clean up event.
We are currently accepting volunteers to serve on our committee.
