About Early Iron

The Early Iron Festival is one of the San Luis Valley’s premier events bringing in visitors from Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, Utah and Kansas. The show, which started in 1981, draws 100's of rodders and street car enthusiasts.
The Early Iron Festival is a 3 day event starting on the Friday before Labor Day and ending on Sunday. It’s full of good food, parades, music, and beautiful cars and pickups with a few trucks and rat rods thrown in for good measure!
