Kristi Mountain Sports Fat Bike Race

Back for the second year is the Kristi Mountain Sports Fat Bike Race! Bring your fat bike down to the pond for a fun but challenging race over the snow and ice. If you don't have a fat bike, Kristi's will provide you with one! Only $10 to register with your own bike, $20 if you need a rental. Earn style points for dressing like your going to the beach!

Race Course
The race course is a 1.5-mile short track around Blanca Vista Pond. The surface is groomed snow and dirt/gravel track. Portions of the race course will be on the frozen pond!

Race Format
The Fat Bike races will begin with heats of 5 participants. Heats will consist of one lap of the 1.5-mile course. The top 5 racer times will be entered into the finals. Races will be split into Men's and Women's divisions.

Clothing/Footwear
We recommend you pay close attention to weather forecasts prior to the race. Temperatures will likely be below freezing! Beach attire (with warmth layers) is highly encouraged!!

Location/Parking
The race will begin at Blanca Vista Pond (across from the Cattails Golf Course on North River Road). Parking is available at the Blanca Vista pavilion, at the Blanca Vista Dog Park, on the side of North River Road, and at Cattails Golf Course.

Timing
The race is manually timed. Results will be posted on this page within 48 hours of the race end.

Prizes
Prizes will be given to the top three male and female finishers.
