Adams State University will host two political debates on Sept. 30 with the major candidates in the Colorado Senate District 35 and Colorado House District 62 state legislative races.

The Colorado Senate District 35 candidates are Carlos Lopez, Democrat, and Cleave Simpson, Republican. In the Colorado House District 62 race, the debate will feature incumbent Don Valdez, Democrat, and his Republican challenger Logan Taggart.
