Each year in April since 1991, National Parks across the country celebrate National Park Week (NPW) with special programs, events, and fee-free days. Celebrate this presidentaly proclaimed week at the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve

10:00 – 10:30 a.m. – Conversation with a Ranger 

Meet with a Visitor and Resource Protection Park Ranger and learn how park rangers preserve and protect the park and preserve on foot, horseback, and in vehicles. Come with questions, get some answers and hear some stories. Amphitheater, 30 minutes
