The play depicts a comically fictional chance meeting between Einstein and Picasso in the small Lapin Agile bar on a warm fall night in 1904 Paris. Ideas are discussed. Jokes are made. Drinks are drunk. Drank? The future is imagined. Modernity is lamented. And before the night is over there will be a surprise visitor who crashes the party.
