Big Valley HobbyTown in partnership with the San Luis Valley Brewing Company is pleased to announce our first ever Father’s Day RC Racing Drink and Demo Day.
This couldn’t be any more fun! Come join us for casual RC car races, try out the free demo cars supplied by Traxxas, play and race while enjoying local craft beverages.
We will take over San Juan Ave with oval and figure-8 courses plus some drag racing thrown in for fun. Bring your car, or borrow one of ours to try out. Race, play, and relax. Grab dinner and some beverages.
Join us on San Juan Ave between Main St and the alleyway Saturday June 20th at 4:00pm. We will close the street, set up a driver’s stand, Set up repair and charging stations, and go burn rubber. SLVBC will set up a beer tent, and merriment will ensue! After we give our cars and livers a work out, stick around and close out the evening with live music on San Juan.

- Larger than 1/10, Open
- Open Drag Race
- - Might even have some fun with "dry " and "damp" classes...
Demo and fun play is free. $10 to race for prize money. HobbyTown will match race fees with dash-for-cash and additional prize money.
Family Friendly. Open to all ages. Must be 21 to enjoy adult beverages. No purchase necessary, just show up and have some fun.
