Held annually in Alamosa, Colorado, professional BBQ teams travel from all over the country to compete at Beat the Heat BBQ & Brews. There is a People’s Choice category which allows eventgoers to taste BBQ from professional teams and vote for their favorite.
​Beat the Heat has a wide range of activities for everyone. In addition to tasting People’s Choice BBQ, eventgoers can compete in the Brewer's Classic Cornhole Tournament, watch the Bloody Mary Showdown and enjoy the Spare Keg Brewerks Brewfest! There is also live music, yard games, food vendors for you to enjoy!
