With the intimacy of a singer/ songwriter performance and the sound and soul of a full band, Pint & A Half is Duke and Tami Sheppard. Duke’s driving acoustic and electric guitar textures and warm baritone voice combine with Tami’s poignant to powerhouse vocals and creative and effective percussion to yield an immediately identifiable sound that is Pint & A Half. Catchy hooks, close harmonies, and hard-driving rhythms are the bedrock of Pint & A Half's brand of Americana/alt country music.

Pint & A Half's most recent CD is their very well received Howlin' Dog Records release, titled “Not to Forget, which is chock full of great examples of their stellar songwriting and signature sound, from the catchy love song and title track “Not to Forget” to their earlier single release “Mountains, Rivers, Music” - their prescription for surviving the madness of modern life. Their previous CD “Boomtown Ghosts” garnered national attention in the highly respected music magazine No Depression, which remarked, “The husband-and-wife duo have quickly gained access to full alt-country credentials. This is an album that will speak to people in a way they haven’t yet heard.”

Joining Duke and Tami will be bassist Jahil Bragassa and Don Richmond, Alamosa-based musician and record producer, who recorded and co-produced Pint & a Half's last two releases. Richmond remarks, “One of the highest compliments I can give any artist is that they are a reflection of their home, of where they come from, that they are a voice for the ground they stand on. This is Pint & A Half, and this is 'Not to Forget'.” He adds, “They also exhibit both a unity and a chemistry that is rare and undeniable, that obviously and effortlessly delights audiences and listeners.”

Since their 2017 Howlin’ Dog Records release “Boomtown Ghosts”, Pint & a Half have toured the US extensively, and shared the billing with Americana favorites such as Michael Hearne, Shake Russell, Gabrielle Louise, Rapidgrass, and others. They’ve also found an enthusiastic audience on streaming services and community radio stations across the country, winning the “Best of 2017” album on the syndicated “Colorado Playlist”, Top Ten albums on KDHX FM St. Louis’ “Backroads”, and People’s Choice in the Southwest Indy Artist Awards, as well as multiple nominations in the 2018 Josie Awards in Nashville, Silver medal in the Global Music Awards contest, and others.
