July 10 THURSDAY 5-7pm $35 Cooking with a Naturopath  with Sandi of Souly Natural Holistic Health

Learn how to make flatbread from quinoa, use bulk foods to prep your meals for the week, and how to start feeling great with local veggies cooked so they taste amazing. We will also have sampling at the end of Sandi's sugar-free treats that will blow you away with infinitea tea samples. Sandi will also go over naturopath concepts of how to treat your organs right with the right foods.

July 18 FRIDAY Afternoon 5-7pm $10 No Till Farming Practices : Creative ways to small scale-farm with Skye and Brynn of High Desert Farm

Sustainable Modern Traditional Farming Workshop    A workshop on  no till  farming. We will explore concepts such as - planting, transplanting vs direct seeding, seed  storage a perpetration   seasonal changes  and weather, tool maintenance, how to prepare bed, compost and watering techniques.

Vermicomposting Workshop: Make Your Own Fungal-Dominant Worm Castings

Join us for a hands-on vermicomposting workshop where you’ll learn how to make your own fungal-dominant worm castings using simple materials like yard waste, wood chips, and organic wheat bran—no fancy equipment required.

In this workshop, you’ll:

 Learn how to build and manage a low-cost, low-maintenance worm system

 Discover how to create fungal-dominant, biologically active castings

 Use leaves, wood chips, and bran to feed your worm bin naturally

 Tour a working system in a space that stays above 40°F all winter

 Harvest worm castings together and set up a new worm bag (fabric pot) step-by-step

 Take home the knowledge you need to start or improve your own system

July 25 FRIDAY 5-7pm  $35 Dandelion Medicine: How to Process Dandelion into Tea and Tinctures with CaRi of InfiniTea Farm

CaRi Conari of InfiniTea Farm will take you through a hands-on demonstration on different ways to process dandelion into teas, tinctures and vinegar medicines. Dandelion is everywhere, and once you know it's magic, you can create medicine that can help with digestion, detoxification, diabetes, and liver health. We will go over proper drying, and how to preserve it with alcohol, vinegar or honey to enjoy all winter to keep a strong immune system.

August 1  FRIDAY 5pm-7pm $35 COMPOST TEA and Farming with Horses  with Amayas Maestas

Amayas will be talking about how to make your own compost tea to give nutrients to your garden in a natural way to increase what you produce, ideas for crop production, irrigation, and how to use tools to grow larger areas. A simple recipe using molasses and fish emulsion to add to your plants as they are fruiting to give them an extra boost. He will also discuss how horses and other techniques can be used in regenerative agriculture.
