Volunteers will complete a variety of tasks, including writing an encouraging card, decorating and writing messages on the Kynd Kit packaging, personalizing the smaller canvas bag, adding surprise messages to some of the playing cards and assembling the kits. The kit is designed to add a human touch to essential items for someone who has had to evacuate or is unable to return home due to a disaster.
Kynd Kits are volunteer projects in a box. Everything you need to personalize a gift for a community member. Our mission is to make volunteering ridiculously easy and accessible for everyone. Our Kynd Kits are just one way we use the power of volunteering to fulfill our mantra: do good. feel good.
The Spark Speaker Series features local experts addressing critical health and wellness topics for older adults, including nutrition, memory, physical health, volunteering, and well-being. All events are free and open to the public. No registration is required.
