Splashland Hot Springs Swimming Pool began in 1955 when the owners were drilling for oil and hit a geothermal pocket of water. The water enters the pool at 104* F year-round with average temperatures ranging 88-96 * pool wide. They turned the discovery into what is now Splashland LLC which has served Alamosa , the entire San Luis Valley and surrounding area ever since. We have in & out-of-state visitors swimming frequently as well as foreign country visitors enjoying our pool. We hope you have an enjoyable stay with us . . .

We offer a “Kids Only” Triathlon (14 and under) in August with Splashland’s Annual Benefit Sprint Triathlon (Run 3.4 miles, Bike 10 miles and finish by Swimming 400 yards in our warm water pool) mid- October. -> -> -> NEW THIS YEAR <- <- <- .....we are the final leg in the Southern Colorado Triathlon Series , with Sprint Triathlons in Cortez, Gunnison, Montrose and Alamosa Colorado. Fifth Session ON REQUEST starts Aug 7th - 17th Minimum number of 6 per class required 6 classes per session based on skill group. 6 students per class approximately Private lessons available on first come first serve basis @ $30.00 per 1/2 hr lesson (solo) @ $40.00 per lesson (up to 2 people same instructor/skill level) for 1/2 hour.
